Many of these comments are politically accurate; Twain is entitled to her opinion and shouldn't have to apologize for it. BUT...no one has 'bullied' her into an apology. What has happened is that, in hindsight, she has likely become aware that a substantial portion of her fan base does not agree with her p.o.v. and may have indicated that they will no longer support her music/concert sales; resulting in a potential major income decline. She's not apologizing for her opinions or beliefs, she is simply doing damage control to protect her brand and her sales.
